It’s clear that now is the time to make good on our promise to return the green to its former glory before it’s boxed in by Harris fencing and the lucrative contract for its overpriced restoration goes to the highest bidder or closest buddy.
It seems quite a daunting task, disheartening to face alone, but lets not forget that core to Occupy’s vision is a world where we can all pull together and achieve amazing things.

If everyone could clear one square metre of ground, bagging loose debris in preparation for reseeding, then the task would be immensely achievable, infact there wouldn’t be enough square metres for everyone.
Wear boots and gloves. Bring a plastic bag and a thermos, maybe an extra mug and some hobnobs. Bring a friend. Bring an enemy. Stay a while and reminisce or just put in 10 minutes and run, either way, I look forward to seeing you at the weekend. Please spread the word..
