Occupy the New year!
As we have been expecting for some time, the council and cathedral have today started eviction proceedings against the camp.
We are pleased to note that during our time here we have got both the church and the council talking much more seriously about inequality. In particular we are pleased that the cathedral’s planned programme of events has been changed to pay more attention to inequality.

In solidarity with the Occupy Together, mass movement

We intend to assemble and occupy part of the city centre.

We intend to democratically disarm the corporate war loving governments of the world and replace them with a new order that represents the needs and aspirations of the many and not those of the privileged few. We intend to do this through a global non violent, unified resistance.
