At yesterdays meeting Barbara Janke the leader of the council undertook to investigate moving the councils money to a ethical finance provider such as Triodos, or the Co-operative bank. It seemed that she would be personally supportive of such a move.

Insurmountable legal barriers aside, it seems they will be moving the millions of pounds that they look after for us out of coal and arms and into renewable energy and other socially useful activities.
