Structures on camp seem to be a hot topic today.
One large structure is under construction on camp and there are ongoing discussions between the individuals constructing it, and the rest of the camp.
The Evening Post seem to have completely missed that “three storey” high structures are clearly a joke. They also seem to have incorrectly attributed a “slum city” comment to the camp, rather than to the individual who made the statement.
As a camp we yesterday initiated a meeting with the council to discuss temporary structures. We will update you as these discussions progress.
