This is for you, the 99% If you’ve ever been subjected to the abysmal ‘service’ of the jobcentre and been left without money to live and no way to fight back or you’ve been treated like a criminal for being in need and of ill health but the media makes a scapegoat of you. This is for you if you have lost, or are going to lose your job due to cuts as part of ‘austerity measures’ whilst companies like vodafone & topshop dodge billions of pounds worth of tax owed and banks dish out bonuses leaving us to pay the balance of the bailouts. This is for you if you are a student who fears they wont have a job to go to when they finish uni, if you’re a kid at school who wont be able to follow your dream due to skyrocketing uni fees, or if you’re living hand to mouth, payslip to payslip. This is for you if you’ve experienced the long arm of the law protecting big businesses and corporations but suffered from their absolute failure protecting us, the people. If any of these things apply to you, then do not be silent! It’s blatantly obvious for anyone to see that the capitalist system is broke and now intent on taking us all down with it. Yet again, our jobs, homes, pensions and unions are under attack due to their crisis. As is usually the case, the unemployed and disabled are being made scape goats for the obscene greed and corruption of the Political and Corporate Class. Businesses are going bust, child poverty is on the increase, university tuition fees have quadrupled along with the price of our most basic needs. Energy bills have more than doubled due to unbridled profiteering and continuous rises in inflation. Life for us continues to to be a struggle, yet the banking industry can smile and award itself with billions in bonuses and benefits for destroying the global economy and our future. This system doesn’t need reform it needs to be overthrown. We can no longer look to our government as a solution to the problems we face. They have deceived and betrayed our trust countless times through propaganda and lies. We intend to democratically disarm the corporate war loving governments of the world and replace them with a new order that represents the needs and aspirations of the many and not those of the privileged few. We intend to do this through a global non violent, unified resistance. To resist injustice is both our democratic freedom and responsibility. Don’t be afraid, the beginning is near.
